On July 3d, 1866 Austrian forces got trounced by their Prussian adversaries. This victory paved the road to German unification according to the 'klein Deutsch' solution (that is without Austria), the tranformation of the Habsburg Empire into the dual state of Austro-Hungary, and the Franko-Prussian war.
I am just a guy with a penchant for the English language, obscure words, and fascination with eloquence.
